We wanted a small knife with the handle offset from the blade, which offers plenty of finger clearance. The blade is nicely curved for small dicing and the soft feel of the handle gives a good grip. The blade is well seated in the handle and appears to be good steel. Have enjoyed using it.

I received this pan as a Christmas gift. At first I loved the pan, but after a few weeks, the pan became warped such that it no longer sits flat on my glass, radiant stove. Since I pay meticulous attention to letting my pans cool before hand washing, I was quite surprised when it warped due to regular use. When I contacted Calphalon about the defect, Calphalon refused to replace this product because the company does not warrant against warping, even due to normal use.

I have been using this pan at least twice a week for about 6 months. I have a smooth-top stove and this pan has warped so much that it is almost useless. At first it was a great pan. I used it to make pancakes, french toast, pork chops, cube steak etc and I was very pleased with the way it cooked food and cleaned up in the dishwasher. However, over time the pan no longer sits flat on the stove. Also, the nonstick lining is looking quite worn. I have used only nylon coated utensils. I am grateful I purchased this pan on sale. It is definitely not worth its full price.

This pan is awesome! I picked it up at the sale price and have been very happy. I cook a lot of corn tortillas and I was looking for a pan that would allow me to cook 2 at once without overlapping them. It does this job perfectly! Now I find that everyone in my family is reaching for this pan first and they are fighting over it. I'll be adding more of this line to my collection.

I first gave this a 5 star rating. I am downgrading it to a 1 star. I loved this pan. Past tense. It didn't last a month before the nonstick started peeling and the pan actually warped on the burner. We have an electric stove and no other pan has done this so I suspect a manufacture defect.

I read reviews on these dishes and bought them anyway with people saying they chip easy. That is SO untrue. They must be tough on their dishes, because I have no problem with them. They fit in my dishwasher, microwave and cabinet just fine. I would highly recommend these to anyone who likes the look. They are large, but angled in so you don't have liquids spill over the side of your plate if eating in front of TV. My husband and I could not be happier. Used them on Thanksgiving and everyone thought they were awesome.
My advice would be to buy them......you will not regret it.

The plates just arrived. I ordered two sets of 4. After reading other reviews I was concerned about them arriving with chips and scratches. I was very pleased that all pieces where in perfect condition.

The plates and bowls are very large as stated, but they look great and I look forward to using them.

Warning, as another person stated, the plates look different than the pictures. The Red is not as prominent and the yellow/green is very predominantly green.

I love my West|280 iOpener. I own more than a dozen iPhone cases, but this one is my favorite. It's so thin and light I hardly know its there. Tough as a hockey puck and as elegantly designed as the iPhone itself, I wear it like a nice pair of cuff-links. When I open a bottle I'm suddenly the center of attention; always appreciated! I recieved this product in good time. It was a gift for my boyfriend on his 21st bday. When he took it out of the box and tried to put it on his phone the bottom piece would click into place and kept slipping off. So he is unable to you it. I requested for a return. There are other companies that sell similar product just not as cheap. It was a good price just not a good product. I bought this for my aunt which is a 4th teacher and her name is Mrs. Fox, so she has a bunch of different foxes around her class room, but I thought this would fit her even though she is older. I hope she likes it, since I got it for her for Christmas. It is cute and the only thing I would say is a downside is that the interior is that silver lining that is in more lunch bags, and it doesn't seem like it would keep food cold at all, but it is cute. I hope it gets good use.

I ordered the Porter Cable Bammer first trying to save some money, what a mistake. It worked the first time I used it then I put it away for a couple of weeks. When I got it out the second time I had nothing but misfires, so I sent it back and ordered the Pasload. I knew the Pasload would be a quality tool as I already owned the Pasload Impulse Framing nailer. As expected when my Pasload came it worked like a dream. So save yourself a big hassle and forget the Bammer, just order the Pasload, it's worth every extra cent!

Living in Los Angeles must be the "out back" to Paslode, I purchased the tool with the understanding that nails and fuel cells could be purchased at places like Lowes and Home Depot or at best at local tool outlets. I have yet to find a retailer that sell the 18 guage nail, some do sell brads. I had to have the fuel cell UPS'ed from Oxnard Ca. I went on line and discussed the problem with Paslode. They could care less, they insist that fuel cells and nails are available(but they wouldn't sell me any????. So I continue to call tool supply stores and check larger retailers. The Paslode catalogue "on line fastener section" does not even refer to the nails in question. As far as performance, when using brads it works adequatly. So to any and all of you that are considering the purchase of this tool make sure that accessories and supplies are available Would I buy another produce-----NO.

These are great discs at a great price, I will order more. I have found through experience some helpful hints for recording to MD:
1: Shocks: Do not jump or dance while recording live to minidisc on your person. Likewise, do not attempt to record while playing the stereo loud enough to shake the house - it will shake the MD as well.
2: Power: Use fresh batteries or wall power whenever possible while recording.
3: Storage: Sure, it has a little metal door on it, but this also means you cannot wipe the surface free of dust in the event some slips in. The lubricated surface of the disc probably holds dust and grit to the surface, which may cause serious radial scratches during playback/record. Keep the MD's clean, in cases, like the cheap disposable tupperware made now, NOT in the floorboard of your car or loose in purse or backpack.

Special note: Do not let anyone convince you that one manufacture of digital media is superior in sound quality to another. This is balderdash. A one is always a one, and never halfway between a one and a zero.
One potential flaw of these discs is the metal door, which could become bent if snagged on something and yanked on. Don't yank on it, be gentle.

When I was placing my first order for 40 discs, I was worring about the quality, because I've seen some concerns over here, among reviews. But after, I tested the first delivery, I was so excited about it, and decided to order another set of 40 discs.

I use them every day for recording lectures at my college using LP4 mode in my Sony MZ-R700. A also use 5 Sony colored MD74 discs, and I noticed some jitter with them, which did not happen with my Memorex discs.

I think, Memorex is a great deal for those, who are independent in mind from the brand and is more concentrated on the quality.

This is a first rate soldering station with ESD (grounded tip) protection and digital temperature readout. If you are serious about your soldering--this is an excellent choice.

After years of laboring with a 'cheap' soldering pencil, I finally broke down and bought a first rate station. The final straw was when I noticed that the cheap pencil iron I was struggling with was beginning to melt and the handle was becoming just a bit too hot to hold--ouch! If you spend much time doing electronic assembly work--do yourself a favor and invest in quality tools. They will pay for themselves many times over.

The construction quality of this product is fair at best. The connector for the soldering iron on the front of the base unit isn't anchored in its place, and I can already tell this will be the first thing I ever have to fix on this unit. Operationally... it doesn't seem to get as hot as the display says it is, but I'll have to confirm this with later testing. I had also bought two other Weller soldering guns (140/100W and 260/200W) along with this order and they too are poorly built compared to my older Weller tools. It's a shame.

It sucks that allot of people rate things horrible because they had a defective item. It happens. It's something that consumer are willing to accept time and time again in trials because the only thing that can stop some defective items is to jack up the price substantially and perform labor and time intensive testing/ over qualifying of components and labor to assemble components. Also, since you're here buying a soldering iron, It would be assumed that you have some sort of skill in assembling, and understand that at your higher standards of soldering you would not want to make the $25/day or less if you worked in the field of assembling components, nor would you be willing to pay an extra $25 for your item (or maybe you would have bought this at a high up-marked retailer with easy returns.)
Furthermore, people without problems fail to review, while people with problems tend to always review, so beware of inflation on that specifically.

I'm glad i got a Weller, and if there was an issue Weller does work to assist in resolving said issue, it even includes an exploded view of it's simplistic parts to help you identify problems. I couldn't ask for more for the price.
